A single green leaf of Maidenhair fern is encapsulated in crystal-clear resin to create this enchanting Irish keepsake necklace, a perfect piece for a woodland wedding or for any lover of nature!
I carefully dry the leaf before casting it in resin, a process that takes 2 to 3 days in total. I then sand, polish, wax and buff the piece to shiny perfection.
The chain sterling silver and the chain measures 18 inches. The cap connecting the pendant to the chain is silver-toned alloy. Your necklace will arrive safely packaged in one of my beautiful signature gift boxes, ready for gift-giving and with no need for further wrapping.
Please be aware that there may be some very small bubbles in your necklace. Someone recently described them as resembling little dew drops sitting on the flowers & leaves and I like to think they add their own little touch of life to each piece <3
Please keep your piece dry and store it away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. To clean use warm, soapy water. If you would like to polish your piece, use a plastic polish like Novus or renaissance wax and a microfibre cloth, polishing in a circular motion.
Ruby Robin specializes in unique, keepsake jewellery for the modern day romantic. All the designs were imagined and made by Irish designer Khrystyna Marriott. The pieces at Ruby Robin are designed to allow the quiet beauty of nature to shine, to stir the imagination, inspire wonder and encapsulate a microcosm of long forgotten memories.
I make my jewellery using a range of strange and beautiful curiosities, found in the woods and on the mountain sides, on the windswept beaches and wild meadows.
