Irish forest fern necklace

This magical botanical pendant was made using a moss green leaf of real Buckler fern from the floor of my favourite forest, which I dried and encapsulated in a sphere or crystal-clear resin. In Irish folklore, ferns were considered a strange & magical fairy plant, in part because of their lack of flowers but also because of their almost invisible seed spores and so I think this would be a perfect gift for any modern forest fairy!

The resin globe measure about 20mm. The cap is a silver toned allow and the 18 inch chain is sterling silver.

Your necklace will arrive safely packaged in one of my beautiful signature gift boxes, ready for gift-giving and with no need for further wrapping.

Please be aware that there may be some very small bubbles in your necklace. Someone recently described them as resembling little dew drops sitting on the flowers & leaves and I like to think they add their own little touch of life to each piece <3

Please keep your piece dry and store it away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. To clean use warm, soapy water. If you would like to polish your piece, use a plastic polish like Novus or renaissance wax and a microfibre cloth, polishing in a circular motion.

I make my jewellery using a range of strange and beautiful curiosities, found in the woods and on the mountain sides, on the windswept beaches and wild meadows.
