This sweet stacking ring was made with a real Forgetmenot flower from my garden. The piece is made by first creating a soft mold of the plant, which I use to cast in fine silver clay. Once fired at a very high temperature in a kiln, I am left with a solid Sterling silver medallion which I set on a simple ring band. This piece is filed, patinaed and polished by hand to bring out all the small details, entirely by hand here in my home studio in West Cork, Ireland.
As these pieces are woven from soft clay and so have an organic finish.
